    Hey Everyone,

    Can some on tell me what Phytoplankton and Zooplankton is? Also is it neccessary that I use this in my tank?

    Where would one find zooplankton? All I ever see is phytoplankton which, as I've read (and correct me if I'm wrong), is not the same thing.....

    You can't buy it right? More like marine snow that occurs naturally? I'm guessing this would be comprised of phyto/pods/detritus ETC?

    Cyclopeeze, oyster eggs and similar "small" foods are considered zooplankton. Also, juvenile pods, worms and such that grow in our tanks are also considered zooplankton.
