These have been growing on my rock since the start of my tank two months ago. I've seen hermits and other CUC laying on them and thought they would be gone but they dont seem to bother them. Any ideas what type of plant they are?

This one is blurry but had to post the conch helping out the hermit [IMG]

i've had these before and was told they were some type of calcerous algae. Not invasive at all. I kinda liked them

They can be invasive if let go. They mostly just grow a lot on specific rocks so if you think that you are getting too much just nuke that rock. Tweezers work well also. But I like them.

i had them in my tank, but they are gone now. i dont think they will stick around. not sure why , could be the water gets too good for them.
