Plate/cap coral came unattached

    I have a nice size piece of plate (middle center) that came off some live rock when it got moved (Moved because it was starting to calcify on the glass - look about center leftish for the flatted edge). Does this need to be re-attached to another piece of live rock, or can I leave it where it is (Currently resting on top of live rock)?

    It's fine. They don't need to be attached to grow.

    If left alone it will attach itself to the rock.
