Plate/Stony coral ID

    Went to the LFS today... got store credit for my nem and got a couple corals. Got a deal on them b/c the dude broke the original plate that I wanted. Both these frags for $39.99. Either way, I love that LFS anyway. Just need to ID these. Also this is my first hard corals, not sure if the placement is good or what. They are quite high up in my tank. I just sat the plate on the rock. I put the blue plug in a hole.
    He wasnt sure what they were. Sorry for the crappy cell pics

    Looks like a teal Acro and a green Montie Cap to me the acro photo is really blurry, Oh and any LFS selling these types of coral and does not know what they are I'd find a different shop because you will sooner or later get some very bad advice or animals ..

    Yeah it wasnt the owner, he is awesome with anything reef related. Was a worker.
    I thought it was an acro with baby blue tips.. sweet.. thanks tangster!

    WTF my damsel is beating the hell out of the acro.. has anyone seen this before?

    definetly a blue acro and green monti also i had a damsel that did that to my birdsnest dont know y but f the damsel

    looks like a blue tip stag and definitely a green monitpora cap.

    A plate coral is an LPS, usually long (heliofungia) or short tentacled (fungia)plate.

    My maroon clown will re arrange my frags if he does nopt like them where I put them.
