playin around with DSLR: New plate coral!

    Hey guys I got a new long tentacle plate coral today and well I know you guys love pics soo...... ;D

    and I was playing around with the white balance so heres a pic of my frogspawn under actinics

    and I also got some new plants for my planted tank so I thought I would share that too

    very nice. I always wondered what a planted tank looked like. I had heard of them, but didn't know what they were.

    The coral pics are awesome.

    I love tinkering with my camera. I take waaaaay to many pics.:)

    Very true. I took probably 100 pics and only got 5 good ones out of it. lol.

    I especially like the image of the frogspawn, nice.

    Thanks guys. Im still learning. I can get the pics to look pretty good but for some reason they never have that sharp high res to them that I want. I really want to get a macro lens and play around with overhead flash. The funny thing is, my telephoto lens is so much better than my standard lens, so I sit in my kitchen and zoom in to the tank in my living room to get close ups. :lol: Oh I really need a macro.
