I just installed a phosban reactor yesterday and today I'm noticing alot of bubbles where the algae is... Just wondering if its the algae starving off or if now I have another problem...

I have no idea what it could be... I noticed small things walking on the glass also... How would micro bubbles occur

The bubbles are normal. I noticed the same thing once I add gfo. If you have a lot of algae you can turn your lights off for a couple days if theres no corals in your tank or just have them on for a shorter period of time to make it go away a little faster. Also if your phos was pretty high before you added your reactor you might have to change the media sooner then recommended because it will get full. Its better to test the water that comes out of the reactor to know when its exhausted

micro bubbles could be coming from your reactor and then joining together on your tank interior. look for teeny bubbles coming out of your reactors outlet tube, and the little things moving, are good, so leave them;)

you can scrape it off if you want it wont hurt anything. The things crawling on your glass are probably pods which are good. Are they little white critters? If the bubbles are rising from the algea and not just floating around the tank its just the algea dying nothing to worry about.
