PLEASE help... Bubbles on the side and back of tank...

    If you scrap it off dont just let it float around the tank, pull it off and throw it away. Are you running a filter sock or some sort of filter?

    Is it fowlr or reef tank. If its reef how do you feed your corals.

    Its a reef... I use kents essential ,, and photoplankton. But I haven't fed since I put phosban in.. Why

    The bubbles usually appear just before a cyano outbreak. if it were me, I would cut the lights off for a couple of days, and run a phosphate sponge for 36 hours. It will save you a MAJOR headache. The coral will be fine without light for a couple of days.

    Also, forgot to mention this, but I'd start with a 1/4 to 1/2 the dose they rec! Tanks can have negative reactions to full doses immediately;)

    Just wondering cause if you just fill up the cap and dump it in there like it says on the bottle there is phose in the food so you will use up your gfo quicker. The best thing to do is get a turkey baster, turn off any powerheads in the tank for about 20 minutes and target feed. I feed mine every 3 or 4 days. Your corals will get more food and you will put less phose in your water that way and not use up your gfo as quick.
