    Thanks FOR the help guys,

i didnt even have to put him in a QT tank!!!, i looked the next morning and the swelling had gone down substantially and the discoloration had cleared up a bit... so i fed them and he ate!!!

then he ate that night agian, and was even better the next day!
so i just left him in there, didnt want to put any stress on him just to have him heal faster..

and today its 100% cleared up!, all the discoloration is gone the eye is normal size and perfectly clear! hes eating like crazy(normal) and very active again!

so thanks for the help/adivce guys!

Not POP eye - i think it more likely he was injured. Popeye doesn't normally clear up by its self.

Only comment I have is about the Garlic loosing it's effect, it will not. I have been into nutrition for 33 years and take vitamins, supplements and herbs. Garlic is an herb and the longer you or a fish take it the more it builds to a total effective level and continually taking it maintains that level. There are some herbs that do loose their effectiveness over time however Garlic is not one them.

hmm thats weird then.... the exact same kinda circumstances... he must have scraped his eye/socket on somthing,

or ive seen 1 digitate hydroid.. could that have stung him and caused his eye to swell.....

    or a bristle worm??

I've seen pop eye clear by itself, so to speak, if the fishes immune system is strong it will eradicate it.
