Please help ID this frag for me :)

    Hey reefers. I bout this combination frag rock today from my lfs and he told me the name of this coral but I cannot remember the name. Under actinics it's a blue purple and is a hard coral.

    The pic came out sideways. I have no clue as to why. Also, the mushroom in the back isnt the one needing id. :) Thanks!

    It looks like an encrusting montipora :) Looks kinda like the Pokerstar I bought a while ago. (since died.)

    Could be Pokerstar, which has distinct green polyps with bright orange centers to resemble a poker chip. Could be one of the versions of Superman, which is usually brighter blue with bright red polyps.

    Yours and both the mentioned show named corals are very likely to be Montipora mollis. So i think for now that would be the safest bet for an ID for now.

    There is a little bit of receding tissue. Check your alk a few times a day and make sure that is staying stable. These types of Montipora are real sensitive to that. They will usually be the first to show stress.

    I'd guess purple haze Montipora danae. And an Actinodiscus mushroom

    Purple haze montipora is what I came up with. Nice frag. Is that a miami blue pit in your avatar? I miss mine
