Please help ID this green algae

    Please help ID this algae growth on the sand and rocks....

    Looks like Bryopsis to me........

    To me as well.

    Get out as much as you can asap, even using a tweezers on the rocks, and hopefully your CUC will finish off the tiny bit left. If it still comes back, raise your magnesium levels to around 1600ppm. That will get rid of it, but not much else will. It is the scourge.

    Many thanks friends. Any inverts or fishes that can help cleanup the bropsis

    the Sea Lettuce Slug will eat these, but it does so EXCLUSIVELY. When this algae is gone, it will DIE. You are responsible for either 'fuge'ing some of it and keeping the slug fed, or trading it out to someone with the same problem, or both.
