please help ID this?

    uh oh its a nudibranch

    can be good or bad. i remember pulling a little guy like that out when i bought zoas from the lfs and the zoa rock had more of them. they lay eggs in the tank and can reproduce quickly. watch for more of them. hopefully this guy is safe but IMO hes not. id pull him out and look for more and eggs

    If it is, I would get it out, most if not all, tend to consume sponges, tunicates and corals. Not to mention are very toxic esp when they die. Not good for a tank. Luna

    heres the the critter i pulled out of my tank plus about 5 more

    Its an Aeolid nudibranch and is most likely a predator of corals or sponges.

    Probably a coral predator, aeolid nudibranch as Chuck says. I don't know of any aeolids that eat sponges, but there might be some.

    just wondering how long has your setup welll..........been up lol..and did you just add LR or any thing w/LR
