    hey everyone this just started last night not sure what to make of it. Is this montipora starting to die. I had for a little frag about 5 grow over 4 inches

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That actually looks like a Yellow Scroll Coral (Turbinaria), might just be the image. Regardless questions below still are applicable.

    I would start by checking parameters Ca/alk/mag and SG.

    Did you recently change bulbs?
    Is this a new coral and did you acclimate it to your light?

    I did recently upgrade from t5 to led light. For the past 2 week there has been no problem with any of my corals and i had this coral for past 5 month. I looked at the coral last night and it was fine i will get the water checked tom and i will post the result. But im pretty sure everything is alright.

    Are you acclimating your tank to the new stronger leds? and if so how are you doing so?

    +1 to this, LEDs tend to be a lot stronger from what i've read and you may not necessarily be able to tell just simply by the naked eye...
