please help lionfish wont eat

i got a baby lionfish 2 days ago. when i got him he had just ate 2 little guppies at my lfs. im trying to get him to eat frozen. any tips? i dangeled krill and small silver sides in front of him both on a feeding stick and also tried fishing line he wont touch any of it. he is about 2 inches in body length.

I have had a lot of them (12) one ate frozen krill

 

if you can you should try to get live brine shrimp...i guess im lucky we have 2 lions in the lab and they eat anything...sorry but try the live brines

 

Some people are lucky, my brother had a 120 gal tank with about 5 in it. The lions would eat freeze dried krill and live. I always thought it had to do with competition in the tank

 

i didnt try freeze dried krill. do you think that might make a differance? what if i bought feeder guppies and froze them. the thing with the live is i have no way to store them.

 

they dont need to eat every day I would feed mine a little more often than once a week

 

well he ate live guppies so i guess im stuck feeding him those
