+1 on Luna's comment, I had a FOWLR with a guest CC starfish and forgot when I switched to coral, the bald spot on my GSP reminded me he needed to be moved into another tank

I've never had a "hang-on" skimmer before, but I hear the Aquac Remora is a great skimmer. Anything from AquaC, PM, ETSS, Euro-reef, Octopus, Deltec and Tunze are great skimmers. Luna

    Thanks alot steve.
so which of the skimmer you guys mentioned will support up to 150G and not be overly expensive? as for the starfish i never plan on going with corals and stuff, but if i do its good to know thanks. i do have a question about him though. the guy at my lfs said since my tank setup is under 1 year old the starfish would most likely die in under 6 months. is this true? I took a picture after 4 days of what i think is functional skimming with the jebo. ill post it up and you guys tell me if it looks like its doing its job. theres about 3/4 of an inch of brownish green fluid in there. so based on this do i need to get a new skimmer at this point or can it wait a year or so when i plan to upgrade my tank? thanks again guys.

As for a HOB skimmer, the AquaC Remora Pro and Octopus BH-100F would work OK, but may get a little overworked with a messy fish feeding tank. I would look at the Aqua Medic Turbo Flotor-1000 Multi SL.

Yep. But don't forget the Octopus BH 200, 300, or even 400. They are absolute beasts for HOB skimmers.

Ooooooo. I was unaware. I was not happy with the fact that it 'topped out' at 100. I am glad I was incorrect. Will go check out......
