Great job on the over flow and skimmer is the same I use but you got it for a cheeper price. The only thing that I noticed on old tank is the bed you used was not fine sand like bed but looks more like a bed from a fw tank. I also noticed you were going to go with live sand and that is the best choice. I would do away with old bed forsure. But other then that looks great. k+ for great job on over flow box

I'm glad you guys like the overflow since I can't change it now haha..... I drilled a small hole in the top of it so that it could suck some air in that made the gurgling stop and it works really well I saw that on somone elses tank so I'm not a genius or anything..... Do you guys think I should run a pre filter or somthing or put something to keep snail out of there I dont think any large can fit anyways but just in case....

Nice job on the overflow box. What did you use to bend the acrylic?

I had a rotozip I made a guide cut 2/3 deep into the acrylic. Then I just used a heat gun and bent it to a perfect 90... I did the same on my sump stuff if you look close you can see the boxes I made on the right.... The ones in the sump were made fast the one in the tank I took my time on.... I glued the seem's after I bent it for a little more stength...

Oh wow, you got a puffer in a 10G? The little guy will grow pretty fast and will need at least a 100G home within a couple years. I woud suggest using aragonite substrate when you start the new tank. The aragonite will help keep the water buffered. I would use either oolitic or sugar-sized sand, maybe 30lbs of dry, and 10lbs of wet live sand to seed the rest. Make sure you rinse the dry sand before you put it in the tank.
Oh btw, you probably won't need the airstone in the new tank. It doesn't really help too much with the dissolved oxygen for your tank, IMO, it just causes a ton of salt creep on your lights. Your skimmer will supply the tank with mucho dissolved oxygen that your fish will be very happy with. :)
