trust me hes not going to make it through the night if you don't separate them some how.
Tominis can be very aggressive when the want to and if a pearscale has similar shape and color so hes going to keep going for him.

I don't know about that. Right now, my pearlscale isn't being bothered. It's 12:44am, and I'm about to go to bed-- I went to check up on him, and he's actually still swimming around while every1 else is asleep ^_^ He's probably getting a feel for his new home. Either that, or he's an insomiac just like me XD

Once the lights went out, my Tomini hid away and didn't come out since then, so my pearlscale is getting a chance to swim around without being hassled.

The only similarity I can see in the Tomini Tang and the Pearlscale Butterfly is that they both have a bit of orange on them. Other than that, I don't really see a similar shape, or OVERALL color similarity either. The tang is overall gray, and my b/fly is overall white, with a pointed mouth and raccoon looking eyes, sort of.

I just hatched an idea-- tomorrow morning, I will observe their behavior once again, and if my tang continues to abuse my pearlscale, I will have dad put the tang down in the sump for the day, so pearlscale can not only be safe, but get a better chance to establish himself in the aquarium. I figured my tough Tomini who's already used to the tank can handle a day in the sump. Then in the evening, we can either return the tang, or arrange the rocks and then return the tang.

It's not me folks, honestly. I WANT to re-arrange the rocks, because I've gotten three recommendations for it so far, and I believe you guys. My dad can be a little hard-headed at times though-- even though he spent HIS $40 on this fish o_o

If this was one of his fishes that he liked, he'd probably do anything he could to save them -_- gheyness.

Do you guys think keeping my tomini in the sump for a day will be unwise in any way?
