    That explains the white sand and aged rock. I would guess this is quite similar to Amano fresh water planted aquariums. The aquarium is only up and running long enough to meet the artist's vision and is then taken down and a new one is started.

    As far as the corals and animals used, I can see green star polyps, clove polyps, leather coral, green monti cap, pulsing xenias, and some pink tip anemone on the right side too. I think I also see a very pretty pink feather duster worm at the base of the right mound of rock.
