please help me

    i have had a 12g eclipse with live rock and two clowns in it for about a year. i learned right away dont get a eclipse for sw the 13w bulb just wen out so i decided to try to upgrade the lighting so i got a nova extreme 18'' t5 lamp and was going to fit it under the stock hood once it came in the mail i started thinking that may not be a good idea and it not long enuf to use the docking mounts it can with. so what now i want it under the hood and it fits nice but is that a bad idea? any help is greatly appreciated

    as long as you dont have corals i think fish will be fine with that as long as it fits

    its enough, I think he meant if its only fish any kind of lights will do

    Ah, because I'm doing just fine with mine and growing corals. On that note, yes the fish will be fine with that light - almost any lights for that matter.

    i was wandering if condensation might be a problem with the light under the hood

    i just got it home today put it on the top of the tank and i can fit the hood over it so thats good but in the instructions it says to only put over a coverd tank so i was wandering if condansation will build up inside it it is fully coverd it just has some vents in the side i just dont want to break it beacuse i have plans to use it for a frag tank once i get my 75g tank up and running but thats looking like years down the the road beacuse it costs a lot of money as you well know
