Please help. Need some ballast guru's!!!!

    Found a place that will test my ballast for free and let me know if it's good or not. Gonna take it there tomorrow or Thursday. Seem like nice people. We'll have to Waite and see.

    Well, on my T5 ballast there are 4 wires just like yours (same colors too). The blacks go together, as do the whites. White to white and black to black, but not the blacks and whites together. The green is ground and goes to the ballast casing. The red and yellow goes to the light(s). That's how I have my home made retrofit wired.

    I'm confident they'll tell you, "the ballast is fine." Be careful, Greg. Ballasts can pump out in excess of 10,000 volts.
