please help white sppot again but id this..??

Hope you guys may be able to help!

I have a tank that has recently had an out break of white spot/marine velvet.
I had the same problem about 2 months ago but quarentined the fish and once they were better they were put into a new tank.

We put new fish into the old tank as it had cycled for about 2 months. Within about 2 weeks the white spot was back.
This time i have pulled all of the filters, skimmer and substrate out of the tank and i found these odd looking things in the trickle filter.......Any ideas?
They are white with what look like small spikes on them and they are soft to the touch sacks of eggs maybe..?? anyway im currently sterilising all the system whilst the fish are in a qt so will have to cycle the tank again, i have bought new substrate filter media etc, nothing from this system will be returned to the new cycle...
