Please Help!

a chunk of my live rock has fell and landed on my toadstool leather and punctured 3 slits in coral, will it b ok? any advice welcome, thanks.

 

I would think so. It might just need time to recover.. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and keep us posted.. Can you get any pics of it??

 

ahh it should be ok
leather's are propigated on a regular basis all the time' you'd be suprised at a corals ability to bounce back quickly and repair its self'

remember in the wild' theres storms'/huricanes and corals are all the time reapiring and rebulding what they lost to predation and storm damage .

I suggest calming down and letting the poor thing settle ' dont move it' ( if it was doing just fine where it was in the tank )
let it heal naturally , dont add any "snake oils" or the like , keep the water chemistry correct , it should be fine.

Just make sure that your Cal, Mag and Sr levels are up to par. Maybe pouring some vitamins wouldnt hurt either.

Its fine thats how we make new toadstool's we cut out sections and stick them on a rock..
