    Hope you found the real culprit. Looks like it's time to deal with the bully!


    FYI, the lower temp didn't cause the ich. It was more due to the possible sudden drop in temp after a sustained period coupled with the hard time from the bully. Ich can often be brought on by something as simple as stress.

    Yeah. But it would be a shame if we had to get rid of that butterfly though. but yeah it probably is stress. But hey its getting late and i need my sleep for school.     its a bank Holiday in the PRC today and another in UK on Monday

    I could not make my mind up which of the 2 cultures holidays , I should observe
    so in order not to offend anyone, I am taking them both LOL

    yeah we got a couple updates. one of our clown fish died just this afternoon. the other one is still alive but close. hes still in the corner while the other two fish keep swimming around. my guess is that the chromis and the butterfly are the ones picking on everybody. we might have to take them back or take the other ones back so we can put more agressive fish in their to go with the butterfly. like the dragon wrasse and mabey a grouper. wait i think thats what they call it. i'm not sure though. :confused:

    I would suggest separating them ASAP if bullying is the case. Were the clowns eating at all? Was there visible trauma to the dead clown (torn fins, missing scales, etc)? When was the angel added, before or after the clowns?

    It may still be possible that all of your fish are still dealing with the stress of high heat and nitrates.
