    Hello all just set this tank up moved everything over from my 92 and added the water to my 140 just ordered a clean up crew but its taking over ... foxface is nipping at it but thats it please help all levels good mh run 7 hours a day temp is like 77 feeding every fours days..... diatoms is my guess never had this stuff

    Looks like slime algae. Cut down the run time of your MH, increase flow, and what are your params exactly. "good" does not help.

    How much of the water from your old tank did you transfer in to the new tank? I'd guess diatoms as well given the fact that even if you used old sand, silicates would have been exposed.

    IMO, it's a bit light looking for cyano on the rocks.

    Flow is good running two mag 12 in sump and two korilla 4. moved all LR and crushed coral over from 92 and all water... just thinking it started a mini cycle and its diatoms of a small cycle... CA 460 DKh was 11 and no4 was 0.0 and so were phos

    Moving the CC will expose silicates that the first diatom bloom in your 92 never got a chance to munch on.

    So should my clean up crew take it out or a water change or what my wife is all over me cause my new tank looks so so bad lol

    The CUC should put a dent in it and it will disappear on it's own in time.

    CUC should help, but it may not go away until all silicates are consumed.
