    There is some web like thing growing on the glass of my fuge and looks to be growing on some live rock in the sump aswell. Keep in mind there is no light in the fuge.

    not familiar with them. something i need to be concerned about? just leave them be?

    Really, how could that be a sponge? Where is the osculum? It seems to have pointed tips. Looks like a pale/ maybe dying macro algae or something to me.

    I have them all over my sump I just let them be the pods like to hide around them

    Sponges take many different forms. I have some yellow in my tank just like what he's showing.

    I've seen things like this, but I am skeptical that it is a sponge, without a positive ID. I know sponges take a lot of forms and such, so, it could be, it just dosn't seem to fit the general sponge framework. Sponges are just big filters, water in, water out, but I'm not seeing anywhere for the water to go out.

    How about a bryzoan? Maybe something on this page?
