    I don't get why every time the media blows something out of proportion the scientists take the blame. Computer scientists said correctly that computers could have problems if they were not upgraded. The IT guys, myself included at the time, upgraded the software and prevented further problems. We had a few machines we missed, and guess what they did have problems, if nothing was done about it, there would have been more problems. Moral of the story, when the media goes around claiming scientists said this and that, blah, blah, blah, take it with a grain of salt. If you look at the scientific literature, odds are that is not what they said, but if the media reported the pages of qualifications that go along with any scientific finding, it wouldn't be as interesting and they wouldn't sell as many papers.

    And no, the world is not going to end in 2011, or 2012. I will bet a beer on it. Please choice beers only though, no generic crap.
