A well preserved Pliosaur skull was found recently. These were the reigning giant sea monsters of the sea. Check out the video and pics in link.

The fossilised skull of a colossal "sea monster" has been unearthed along the UK's Jurassic Coast.
The ferocious predator, which is called a pliosaur, terrorised the oceans 150 million years ago.
The skull is 2.4m long, and experts say it could belong to one of the largest pliosaurs ever found: measuring up to 16m in length.

Wow. I have always been interested in Archaeology, especially in extinct species. Out of all creatures past and present I think that the ancient creatures of the sea are the most unique, mysterious and terrifying.

I could not have said that any better. I agree 100%.

That didn't look like much of a skull to me  Looks like a bunch of rocks that they lined up and called a skull. I'll wait until I see a nice pretty version or a plaster casting or recreation or something :)

Oh how terrible! Perclunck? Really? Lol
To the untrained eye of course they look like regular rocks, but to experts they are the petrified remains of beauty itself.

Very interesting stuff. But you know, I agree with Jwin on this one. Usually fossils look like what they are - bones. These look like some rocks someone arranged into a triangle and sat a dude in the middle of.

Not always. It's actually quite rare for prehistoric bones to look like bone. Most are actually extremely worn and broken. Just think of the millions of years of wear and tear they endure. Only the casts and reproductions (Which is what most people actually get to see in museums and the like) actually look like what the bones should look like.
Most of the time though, the bones look like big hunks of rock.
