pls id red algae?

    it looks like cyano from pic in the sand. if has stringy "tenticales" coming out of the patch on the sand and flowing with the water then its not cyano. either way increase flow to that area, and give it time. if its a new tank then it just needs time

    It's definately not stringy - if anything, it looks like someone sprinkled it on the sand.

    Julie, I think it is either this: Agardhiella tenera or another one I found yesterday that starts with a C. I got lucky last night and saw the one snail that had this on his shell. I plucked him out and tossed him. Don't want that stuff in the tank
