siphon all the water out you can, then with a cleaned wet/dry vac nossel suck the rest out and you should be good to go.

    On Flexible PVC:

On function - much easier to work with in tight spaces (most of the time) than is traditional hard PVC. It can be used with the SAME EXACT PVC primer and glue as hard PVC. It often will reduce fittings and therfore will generally increase flow.

The only drawback I have seen working with flexible pipe versus hard pipe (I work for a large commercial plumbing outfit) is the aesthetics. It is much harder to get a neat and clean installation out of the flexible pipe and because there are not regular intervals/bends/angles it might be more difficult to support.

That being said, since this flex will be going in a concealed location - I would highly recommend using it. I have used flexible 1.5" PVC for both my overflow and return lines and they were done using minimal fittings with larger-radius bends than could have been achieved with hard pipe easily.

I would highly recommend flexible PVC. Just make sure you are getting true flexible PVC and not vinyl/nylon/ or some other material which will not allow you to use PVC Primer and Cement.

    Best of luck to you!!!!
