My pump for my hydor skimmer went out. The LFS gave me a new pump for it a new Marineland pump. Problem is that the hose is a 5/8 and the fitting to the pump is 3/4". Is there something that I can get to make it fit? I was thinking a nipple and that attaches to the 5/8 tubing that will connect to 3/4 tubing...is that possible does anybody know. Or any suggestions.

Plumbing wise I am dumb  I know a 3/4 male adapter (I think that is right) screws into the pump

whoops looked at that site again and the minimum is like 50 pcs lol look at fostersmith or marinedepot either should have this in their plumbing sections or even ask Tangster, he probably sells them at his work.

if it is 3/4 mpt on the pump go to home depot and get a 3/4 mpt to 5/8 barb and boil some water and heat the tubing and hook up the pump
