So I'm currently working on the plumbing for my 100gal rimless and ordered some parts from BRS.
Both my drain and return bulkheads are 1", im making a Durso drain and then going to use the other for the return, I.E. locline, my question is this, i accidently ordered 3/4'' locline instead of 1"... i got a 3/4 splitter that makes it into 2x 3/4 returns. Should i return the locline and get 1 inch or will it reall restrict my flow that much and can i get by with it?

A lot of systems use 1" drain and 3/4" return. I don't see a problem with it.

FWIW, they don't make 1" Loc-Line...it comes in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", then jumps to 2", so you did all you can do...just add a 1" to 3/4" reducer on the in-tank side of the bulkhead. White is a standard item color, but they do come in black as well.

I'm going to make all the plumbing black so it's less noticeable

I ran a 1 inch drain and a 3/4 inch return no problem. Imagine putting your finger over the end of a running water hose. the flow isn't restricted it just makes the pressure a little harder....but you won't notice hard pressure unless your using an enormous return pump.

The pump i ran on mine was rated at 480 gallons. As long as you use the splitter, two 3/4" lines would definitely be ok. Don't know if i would just use one tho

I only really plan on pumping about 650-700gph to the tank, the other 100 to a reactor

That should be fine. Just make sure all returns are at or near the surface of the water in the DT to limit backflow in the event of a power outage.
