I am using a 7 gal Aquatainer jug to store my ATO water.

I have it gravity fed to a simple mechanical float valve. Since that picture, I have installed the ATO container inside a new cabinet.

So, I want to run a fill hose to the top of the container so that I don't have to remove the container from the cabinet to refill it. The plan is to have 4 refill ports plumbed into the cabinet for Ca/Alk/Mg/ATO so that when I need to refill anything I can just pour it into the appropriate refill port and be done. I don't want to be pulling jugs out every time I need to refill.

I am crammed for space, so I don't want to remove jugs to refill.

Now the question. How do I create a water tight seal into this container effectively where the vent opening is now. I'd like to use something like 1/2" PVC for the fill line, drill a hole in the top of the container as it is oriented in the picture and mate the two with a water tight seal. Optimally, I'd like to be able to disconnect that connect later if for whatever reason I need to.

How would you create a water tight seal between the top of the Aqua Tainer as I have it oriented in the picture and a 1/2" PVC line??

I was thinking of rubber grommets that I could push into a hole that I drilled and then push the PVC into the grommet. There must be an easy way to do this.

    Help appreciated.

Sounds like a good plan as is. Haven't done anything like that so I am going by what my twisted mind thinks is good. Nice plumbing by the way.
