I have the EV-120 on my 90g now. I bought a PM Bullet 1 and a Mag12 off another forum. It's been a month and still don't have it. I still think it will go through, but it might not.

So, now I have a line on a BK mini 160 right here local. It is only 8 months old. He went to the Gen II 180. He wants $550.

I know the PM1 will be better than my EV-120. Still excited to get it. However, the BK is at a good price and lightly used. I would never drop the cash for a new one. Of course, for both these I am taking off the money I expect to get from my 120/mag7.

I can always turn around and sell the Bullet/12 when it comes in.

Heck, he has a Euro reef RS 180 with tthe SP5 as well for $300.

Any input on the difference between the two would be most appreciated.

PS- I just got my taxes back;)

I would go with the PM1 myself.

Hold out for the PM1. New they are ~$300, so hopefully you'll get it for $150? Are you getting the waste collector container with it?

The PM 1 I got for $250. That's with a Mag 12 and shipping. No collector cup. I thought it was a good deal. I will still probably get it. The seller has had some personal issues I guess. I don't think I'm getting ripped off, but I still have not got what I paid for. :-/

The BK 160 goes for $900. It's only 8 months old at $550. Another good deal. I would never consider it new, but it's a good price and local. I have read nothing but good about it. I'm not going to be unhappy with a PM Beckett either.

I knew you would stick up for the Bullet.;):cheesy:

It isn't that I think it is lacking. Certainly an upgrade over my EV-120. Just thinking of noise and power draw. The Mag 12 is the minimum. It should have a Mag 18 (or other brand)

Well, I went with the Bubble King. Quite impressive in person. I don't know if being built like a tanks helps it's performance, but it is impressive.

Still breaking in. I need to get my water level in the sump set. So far all I've done is plug it in. Pretty simple.
