So I've been trying to figure out the best way to get pods growing in my 90 gallon and I have a great supply in my 24 gallon but I didn't want to move any rock from the 24 gallon over, here is a simple process that has worked great for me I just moved over 500 pods today easily using this process

All nano's pretty much have a false back where the water goes into the filtration compartment that is usually always dark (pods love the dark) also the fact that this is where the dirty poo filled water goes they love that to so this makes it a perfect place to grow them out.

On top of the filter pads in the nano tank you simply places some filter floss or small filter pad on top of the other filter media, you want the water to pass on or around this before anything else (one note on this you don't want the pad to be a tight fit in the compartment leave some space on each side so it can float or sink as needed and is easily pulled out) anyway that's pretty much it, let this pad sit for a couple of weeks and then check it out, I left mine for a month and it was literally crawling with copepods and amphipods of all species, I just used the same cup I thaw frozen food in, put some sw from the tank in it then pulled that pad and shook it in the cup, then you just dump that cup of water in the fuge of the tank you want to propogate pods to.
