    yep they look like a miniature termite... the size is about 250-750 micrometers

    well to our eyes its almost impossible to differentiate... but you will be able to see some egg sacks on the females. Those females with the sacks will give you an idea how large fully grown is

    ok cool thanks everyone another update, they are loving the phyto plex and flake food. when a piece sinks to the bottom like 20 of them swarm onto it and start eating its pretty cool. it seems like theres more than i started with already but it could be im just overexicted. anyone know how long it takes for them to breed and eggs to hatch?

    once you get a few generations in there you are getting new ones every day... but the whole cycle takes i believe between 5 and 7 days depending on temperature

    update: 7th day, i only see maybe a hundred or so swimming. i can see a ton of them on the piece of lr and on the bottom of the tank. also i cant see many on the shower poofs but they have probubly gone deeper into poof. first time i will dose my tank will be next sunday!!! cant wait
