So how do the pods make it from the sump/fuge back to the tank without being pureed in the pump?

    Thanks

They're super tiny some don't make it alive some do. If they don't get eaten by your fish they will reproduce like rabbits!

trust me you will have them all over the place in your tank in no time. just cause you cant see them doesnt mean they are not there... alot that is the answer, not only that, but they will reproduce all the time. so unless you have a dragonett, you dont have to worry about it.

well you do want them. and as for the dragonet i would wait at least a year and a half. also they sell pod kits online if you want to check that out. you could introduce them to your tank do that you have a variety of pods in there. you should check out the tiger pods. i wish i had the link.

Even if pureed it does not make them any less a food source for the main tank. I can tell when they are blowing up from the main sump the fuge drains into by the way the fish all start darting all around in front of the return supply feeds from the sump. Never humanize a animal they live to eat and multiply and what they eat as fish is stimulated more by smell and motion then presentation , Thats a human concept LOL Like with the pet food that our dogs and cats will love :) Like they have discriminating taste buds ..
