I have 125 mixed reef, 6 years old. I have also 30 gal. Sump with Fuge ( Cheato, live rock) I also have Naso, Vlamingi, Yellow Tangs, Maroon Clown, Flame Angel and Diamond Goby. I just bought Mandarin Goby. The thing is i really don't see any Pods in my tank, my Mandarin is not picking on live rock, nothing. Is it possible for that so established tank to not have Pods??? I don't think so....I'm so confused... I'm looking at night..... Nothing:(:(:(

I have you same tank and sump setup. I can see the pods in my cheato. Also in the overflow sponge. I think if you look in detail you should see them. Here they are in my sump.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Have you treated the tank with Interceptor in the recent past?

They love to hang out in the Macro algae as luisgo has pointed out. I find them also in the sponges or floss.

Regardless how old or established your tank may be, if pods didn't get imported through live rock or sand and you've never seeded them, it is entirely possible for your tank to be pod-free.

For the sake of the mandarin, I'd suggest either returning it, or start seeding pods ASAP. You can get good deals on large amounts from Reefcleaners.
