Pods without refugium

    A couple hours after lights out, your fish should basically "go to sleep". this is when i feed my corals, etc. bc the fish won't take the food from them.

    This is when I shake a sponge of PODS into the DT. Don't worry about getting them straight to the mandarin.




    I have had my farm running for just over two weeks now. Last Wednesday, I put PODS from the farm into my DT for the first time. Will do this every 2-3 weeks forever. But my tank is not yet ready for a Mandarin. Not enough PODS in the DT yet.

    My point is, don't go and buy a mandarin at the same time you setup a farm. Need to wait until your DT is just crawling with them at night. I am guessing I have another month or two of doing this before my DT will be ready for a mandarin.
