Did anyone order/buy pods? I was thinking about ordering a bottle or two from ocena pods. Please let me know what you think of their product. Thanks.

You already have pods in your tank. If you just set up your tank, just let them reproduce naturally. Your wallet will thank you :)

if you have good lr then yes it really depends on what is consuming it and water params

if you did everything wrong and killed every single thing in your tank, the pods would be last to die.if you have liverock you have pods, unless you did something like bleach it on something.at night like in with a flash light for them, very small bugs.

Hmm, I think I saw one after I stirred up the detritus on my rocks before a water change.

I buy triggerpods I think from Reef Nutrition...cant remember the brand exactly. (They make artic pods, phytopheast etc) Anyway I placed them in my sump when I made the transfer and now I have a butt load also. I will be getting more as I have either a finger dragnet or a sea robin...cant tell.
But you want to allow them to come to room temp before adding. In bottle when you get them and cold, you dont see them move. When they warm up, they will start swimming in there.
