I have a ball of Cheato in the corner
of my tank covered in rubble....
Tonight I was snooping and found a rather large
    Amphipod....
I only saw one....How do these creatures multiply?
And will a Mandarin eat them like they do other pod's?....
This bug is about a 1/4 of an inch long....

I was thinking the same thing about a mandarin. I know that they are to be kept carefully and with lots of thought but let me tell you, I have so many pods one of my corner rocks looks like its undulating. I have copepods, amphipods and I'm pretty sure I've seen an ostracod (spelling??). I'm afraid that at the rate they're growing I'll have a pod tank and not a fish tank LMAO

I gave my first oscillating dragonet away before my pod population was so plentiful but now.....now I need something that's going to focus on eating them!!!

Sounds like a good place for a mandarin to hang its hat. Wish I had enough pods to even try one.

Really. As soon as my camera gets here I'll take a video of the rocks. They're all moving, LULZ!!!

If the algae blenny drops a piece of nori on the sand a bunch of the pods move into it and start tunnels and stuff, you can see the whole piece of nori start moving. Kind of creepy really.
