Has anyone every used this? my brother heard it from some guy and told me about it. Seemed to work good for the guy that mentioned it. If you have used it , tell me your reaction, did you see any improvements?

The product claims to improve color and growth.

Haven't used but it most likely works best in a zeovit system.

I've never heard of it before, but it looks like snake oil to me.

I dont know this product, but with a dosage of 1ml per 25 gallons
I am wondering if this product may be a Vodka alternative?

    the short version

as life forms are carbon based there can only be as much life as there is available carbon
in a reef tank, Vodka is a source of carbon

thus add Vodka, increase available carbon, increase qty of bacteria
which then deal with phosphates, nitrates, etc

corals can become brighter colours, cyno and other algaes tend not to prosper

but it can and sometimes does, go wrong
so research the potential drawbacks before wasting the Smirnoff in the reef tank IMHO

Do you think the trade off from bring nitrates to zero using vodka, is equal to the benefits of nitrates that clams seem to use as a nutritional source. Is the clam going to use the carbon rather then nitrates and is one more benefical than the other ? This has me somewhat confused.
