    That is very good to know. My Dad is so allergic to poison ivy that he can catch it even if it being burned in a fire near by.

    thats awesome, i wasnt sure if my dad was being serious or not! i am going to go do this right now! do you know how much salt per gallon or cup or whatever and also should i do room temp or make it warm do you think? also i am trying to make a banner and i just saved it so lets see if it works lol

    I just used waterchange water so I didn't worry about it. There are specific recipes for people who use Epsom Salts but I've found that our hobbyist salts work just fine.

    BTW, have your dad (and you) carry these rubbing alcohol products when you ride horses, camp, hike, etc. If you know you touched it, just rinse off the poison ivy oil. If you know you touched it with your clothing and not your skin, wear plastic gloves when undressing, put the clothes in a plastic bag, and was them by themselves and add rubbing alcohol to that load. There's nothing more fun than wearing the same pants and getting poison ivy all over again when you've not even gone near the woods.
