    Yeah, ive read about that...I will sometimes pop the blisters and put calemine on it right after, it heals up alright...but my left arm is doing ALOT better now, my right arm is doing better, and my legs and hips and back are still killing me!!! i cant get any sleep at all even using benydryl..it stinks...Im exited to get a shot tomorrow and hopefully it will be non painfull....But on the other hand ill go get some Technu tomorow also.

    Just got my Roid shot...anyone know how long it should be before its gone?

    The roids will knock down the swelling and the itch pretty quickly...probably in a day or so..but the rash will remain for a while...10 days in and 10 days out is a pretty good rule of thumb for Poison Ivy...it takes 10 days to fully develop after exposure, and another 10 days to fully dissapear...it sucks man..I feel for you.

    Ive had it for 7 days already sooo...hopefully sooner then 10 days.!!!

    Six days ago I got it and bleached it. Back in the beginning of this thread I detailed how I did it. The itching stopped about 5 minutes after I bleached it. All that is left is a few small scabs (each about 1/16 of an inch in diameter). Other than that, you can't even tell I had it, and I had it all over my arms and legs. Took about 10 minutes total, and cost me about 5 cents. I guess it is as the old saying "No pain, no gain".

    thats a good idea! wish i woulda done it earlier! i just go y roid shot and its healing up alot

    I have never had poison ivy (knock on wood) so I can't guarantee this works. My grandma always said to find either jewelweed or milkweed and crush it and put that on the rash. Both of those plants usually grow close to the poison ivy. These cost nothing :)
