    I used it to remove Cu from my 50 2 years ago. Took it out in a matter of days. Every since, I always run one in my sump. They remove all sorts of bad stuff from your water, and last a while.

    They work great at removing things like meds, heavy metals, and ammonia.

    On the back of the package it should tell you what color it changes to when it removes a certain item. I change it when it is a solid color all the way through.

    Yeah it says what color but not a time. So just change when it changes color that works for me :)
