    Picked this up the other day, first frag in my tank.

    They weren't entirely sure what type it was, it was kind of pushed to the back of their tank.

    Sorry for the image quality, this was the best closeup I could get with my camera

    That's pretty close. I don't think they're reaching, just partially open. They're normally pretty flat when fully open, I'll have to take a look when I get home later and make sure.

    The weird thing is almost all of them have a white spot on the edge, is that normal? It looks like there is a 'seam' in the head from the mouth to the edge where the dot is.

    Button polyps and the look just fine. What you are seeing is normal.
