    I have bought two sets of I guess eagle eye polyps they are purple with the white dot in the middle.first one died I figured it was the emerald crabs .i saw them picking on them so I took out the crabs bought another polyp and now those are dying..I have other corals that are a lot harder to keep anyone have any ideas.l.also had them middle of tank.thanks

    Are you sure the emeralds were eating the actual polyps? Mine eats picks at the stuff between the polyps, but not the actual polyps themselves.

    How long did it take them to die?

    What other corals do you have in the tank? Where did you place them in the tank (next to other corals, low/high)? What are your parameters?

    Zoas are softies, not LPS.

    could be a zoa eating nudibranch. Dip your zoas (everyone in your tank) I use revive for my zoas and coral rx for my other corals. You will have to dip again every 5 or 6 days for a while in order to ensure all the eggs are gone.

    They are in the middle of the tank.i have bubble tip anemone,long tentacle plate,elegance coral ,gaunitopia ,leather coral ,yellow polyps and a brain

    Are any of the other corals where they can reach the zoas and sting them?
    Are they in the middle of the tank at the top directly under the light?
    What are your parameters?
