Well when i was a newbie i got gifted some ugly brown polyps now they are growing like crazy and all over everything. I want to get rid of them so it will stop making my tank ugly. What should I do to go about getting rid of these? I wouldnt mind so much if they had color instead of dookie brown

Remove them from the rocks they are on. Peel them off or scrape them off, whichever works. Or replace the rock they are on.

you could change your lights to actinics and see if you can bring more interesting colors out or try to breed in more color from another frag. Its hard and may not be possible but it would be a fun try

dont forget to handle with gloves as you will be handling a lot which could expose you to a large QTY of palytoxins and make you feel ill

    Maybe some safety glasses too.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the brown corals. I still have a couple brown things from the early days of the tank.
