The other half got me a pom pom crab. Pretty much the best thing to ever happen to my tank, its been very outgoing and dancing all over the rocks <3

    their such neat little creatures!

Just thought i'd share the excitement :p;D

Anyone keep them too? just curious

Its SOO tiny, around the size of a thumbnail? (well female thumbnail...so etsy) its not bigger then a quarter thats for sure. it stayed in a small crevice under the rock (see picture) when i first got it but now its walkin all over the place shakin and swaying and dancing its soo cute

    Congratulations on the new critter.

I have kept one of these in the past. You are correct, their antics can be intertaining.

    Enjoy.

P.S. Now you just need to locate some really tiny clownfish for the anemones!

my family are always more interested in the slightly different characters for reef tanks
and one of those would certainly be on my sons wish list

I totally recommend it, their best for nanos, they would get "lost" in a large tank...aka u'd prolly never see it. I have a zoa garden fluval edge thats seems the perfect size for him he can hide in the rockwork but its a small enough tank that i def. see it several times a day

well the other half ended up ordering one for himself and his doesn't seem to be as active as mine, his might just still be acclimating he only got it a few days ago, maybe some are just shyer then others, is ur tank pretty big?
