    so i've had a pompom crab for a few months in my tank. When i bought him he had the small anemones of course, but i have not seen him since the day i placed him in the tank and now the anemones are gone. Does this affect the crab since i believe he used the anemones to swipe food into his mouth and it doesnt look as though he has claws.

    He can survive without the anemones. From what I have heard they almost always lose their anemones in captivity.
