    Been trying to research on the polyp extension. I dont think it is the same as the bin or green varietys is this correct t?

    PE varies between species, specific corals and the tank they are in.

    You are right. Ponapes don't extend nearly as far as the other varieties.

    I have mine very high up but they came from halides to my t5. Only been two days now

    I also read the color up better down low. But adapt to almost any level. It hard to say placement as every lighting system is different. BTW mine has really good color with just actinics
