Oh dam I want that! Thats a fat wad of cash. Most koi pond filters I have seen are large bio filters using lava rock. I just set up my 100gal koi tank.

    Very nice.
My parents also have a huge pond. Well 2 ponds connected with an underground tunnel. 2 waterfalls. 3 streams. bridge, and an island. A good idea for the winter instead of one of the little heaters that still freeze when well below freezing is to build a small greenhouse you can put over a part of the pond with pvc and acrylic. Then put the bubbler and the floating heater in the greenhouse which will keep in the heat preventing a full freeze over so the fish will make it all winter. Plus then you can see the fish in the winder. If you need some design pics for your friend Ginny please let me know. My pops just did a presentation on it for aquascapes here in Illinois.

I think you forgot a ball-valve in there somewhere :D

I really want to do something like that when I buy a house. I'd rather have one of those than a swimming pool anyday.
